ZEUS-VU - replaces VIADRUS U22 Economy and U26
MODRATHERM ZEUS VU boilers are produced in the following capacities:

MODRATHERM ZEUS 25/20 – 3 VU4 Hot water steel boiler for burning solid fuels, mainly biomass such as lump wood, wood briquettes with a thermal output of up to 22 kW and a maximum operating pressure of 0.25 MPa.

MODRATHERM ZEUS 25 – 3 VU5 Hot water steel boiler for burning solid fuels, mainly biomass such as lump wood, wood briquettes with a thermal output of up to 27 kW and a maximum operating pressure of 0.25 MPa.

MODRATHERM ZEUS 30 – 3 VU6 Hot water steel boiler for burning solid fuels, mainly biomass such as lump wood, wood briquettes with a thermal output of up to 32 kW and a maximum operating pressure of 0.25 MPa.
MODRATHERM ZEUS VU boilers are equipped with threaded flanges for easy installation as a replacement for VIADRUS U22 Economy, U26 and U68 boilers. Thanks to the identical connection dimensions and nozzles as well as chimneys, replacing a VIADRUS boiler with a ZEUS VU boiler is very simple and fast.
The boilers are mainly designed for burning wood with a water content of up to 20% with a maximum length of up to 550 mm. The boiler body is made of high-quality heat-resistant boiler steel with a thickness of 6 mm (the walls of the combustion chamber that are in contact with the flame and water) and a thickness of 3 mm (the walls that are in contact only with water). The insulating cover is made of 1 mm thick steel sheet and surface-treated with static powder coating technology. The thermal insulation is mineral wool. The grate is cast iron, cellular. Depending on the version, the lower part of the flue gas space also contains fireclay fittings. On request, the boiler can be supplied with a grate surface with a monolithic grate and LacFire 1550/30 refractory concrete fittings. For more information, see the grate surface section.
The modern design of the heat exchange surfaces and the combustion space guarantees perfect combustion with high efficiency and low formation of harmful substances in the flue gas.
The boiler can be connected to the heating system with flanges with a G 2" connection hole. The connection nozzles of the safety exchanger are made with G 1/2" threads.
MODRATHERM ZEUS boilers are produced in the following versions:

Version 1 For open systems without a circulation pump. In combination with DBV2 also for systems with a pump.

Version 2 With an integrated safety copper exchanger that ensures the boiler's protection function against overheating

Version 3 With an integrated copper DHW exchanger, or with a safety copper exchanger, which ensures the boiler's protective function against overheating
