Pellets
Pellets are an ecological fuel produced mainly from wood - sawdust or shavings.
Wood is pressed at high temperature and pressure into the final shape of pellets with a circular cross-section with a diameter of 6 - 10mm. High-quality pellets (so-called white pellets) are produced without the use of chemicals, glue, starch, etc. and are made from soft wood without bark. These pellets are characterized by low ash content and high calorific value.
The calorific value of high-quality white pellets is around 18MJ/kg. Pellets are burned in special automatic boilers in pellet burners, achieving similar comfort as with gas or electricity.
Burning pellets produces only a very small amount of ash, which you can also use as ecological garden fertilizer.
Pellets are supplied in bags, usually packed in 15kg, in large BigBags with a volume of approximately 1000kg or in tanks.
The company MTH s.r.o. recommends burning high-quality white pellets with a diameter of 6 - 8mm, a length of 10 - 20mm and a minimum calorific value of 18MJ/kg.
