Boiler manufacturing process
The production of a central heating boiler is a complex process that involves several steps and the use of various materials and technologies. Central heating boilers are essential devices for heat supply in households, industrial buildings and other structures. The boiler production process itself consists of formatting, dividing and bending flat steel sheets resistant to high temperatures and pressure on CNC equipment, preparation of other materials and parts, subsequent welding of boiler bodies under a protective atmosphere on modern welding machines and their pressure testing for water tightness, anti-corrosion surface treatment of boiler bodies as well as surface treatment of the casing with powder paint on a modern painting line, further assembly of the boiler and installation of all control electrical and electronic elements depending on the boiler equipment, installation of safety, control, operating elements and accessories, final comprehensive test with issuing of a final quality and complexity report of the boiler for each individual piece of product. The final phase is the final packaging of the boiler and its transfer to the shipping warehouse.

Why MODRATHERM boilers?
Long tradition of development and production of thermal technology in Modra.
Our priorities:
- durability and efficient operation
- ecological combustion and environmental protection
- convenient operation and customer satisfaction
-
75 years of history - a proven tradition The tradition of developing and manufacturing central heating boilers began in the early 1960s.
-
Long boiler life Thanks to many years of experience, the materials used and modern production technologies, our boilers achieve a long service life to the satisfaction of customers, where a significant part of the products is still in operation even after many years.
-
Own development and construction Products are developed in cooperation with major European companies and institutions in the fields of combustion, regulation and design.
-
Environment friendly combustion Our products achieve high efficiency and low emission values, which ensures environent friendly combustion and environmental protection, as well as low operating costs.
Company history - we have been producing solid fuel boilers since 1965
The history of metalworking production dates back to 1949. The development and production of solid fuel hot water boilers for central heating began in 1965. The production of gas boilers began in 1975. During that time, we have supplied heat to hundreds of thousands of households.
-
Emission class 5
The European technical standard STN EN 303-5:2021 sets out the requirements and test methods for solid fuel and biomass boilers.
The highest achievable class within this standard for biomass boilers is class 5. Our selected products achieve this class 5.
-
ECODesign
Based on the evaluation of the technical, environmental and economic aspects of solid fuel and biomass boilers, the EU Commission sets emission and efficiency requirements for solid fuel and biomass boilers by Commission Regulation EU 2015/1189 on Ecodesign.
Solid fuel and biomass boilers that achieve this European Ecodesign Regulation meet the strictest environmental requirements set by this regulation.
Our boilers meet these strict requirements of Commission Regulation EU 2015/1189 on Ecodesign.
-
Green State Subsidy for Households
As part of the Zelena program, households can receive subsidies for selected biomass products up to EUR 1,500.
More detailed information on subsidies for biomass boilers can be found here:

ZEUS VU - REPLACEMENT FOR VIADRUS
The ZEUS VU boiler is a hot water steel boiler for burning solid fuels, mainly biomass such as lump wood, wood briquettes, wood waste.
Threaded flanges for easy installation and identical water and chimney connection dimensions with the Viadrus U22 Economy, U26 and U68 boilers.
- the boiler body is made of high-quality heat-resistant boiler steel, 6 mm thick
- the boiler without electrical elements and a fan
- can also be operated by gravity and without a fan
- replacement for the 4, 5 and 6-element Viadrus boiler
- modern design of heat exchange surfaces and combustion chamber guarantees higher efficiency and longer burning time compared to cast iron boilers
- large loading chamber = long burning time - log length from 40 to 55 cm
- on request, the boiler can be supplied with a grate surface with a monolithic grate and LacFire 1550/30 refractory concrete fittings and equipped with a flue gas brake for higher efficiency
The products are developed in cooperation with major European companies and institutions in the field of combustion, regulation and design. The products are certified according to the valid STN, EN, GOST standards, or other national standards depending on the country of export. Production is carried out on modern production equipment, CNC machines, the surface of the products is treated with an automatic powder coating line.
The tradition of production is more than 50 years old and more than 500,000 appliances have been produced so far, a large part of which is still in operation. The company exports more than 60% of its production abroad, mainly to France, Belgium, Portugal, Romania, Germany, Austria, etc.
