Installation
The installation of the radiator (gamatka), commissioning and service operations can only be carried out by an authorized MODRATHERM service company. The radiator is intended for use in ordinary environments. The supplied smoke vents allow, in accordance with STN 06 1401, installation into a perimeter wall with a thickness of max. 600 mm. In the case of a smaller wall thickness, they can be shortened to size. During installation, it is necessary to maintain the horizontal position of the smoke pipe, its maximum permissible slope towards the appliance is 2%.
Connection:
The gas is connected via a 1/2" pipe. A shut-off valve must be installed on the gas supply before the appliance. When the gas radiator is first put into operation, an authorized service technician must perform a leak test of the gas distribution, set the prescribed gas pressure on the burner, test the function of the radiator and the regulation, familiarize the customer with the operation of the appliance and make an entry in the warranty certificate.
Conversion to a different type of fuel:
Each appliance is set by the manufacturer to the fuel that is marked on the packaging, the nameplate and the warranty certificate. The conversion of the appliance to another permitted fuel may only be performed by an authorized service company, and the conversion must be recorded in the warranty certificate and the nameplate.
Conversion to a different type of fuel is performed by replacing the main burner nozzle, replacing the pilot burner nozzle, replacing the minimum output screw and changing the operating pressure settings.
